1. What shipping service do you use?

A: We ship using the US Postal Service and their First Class, Priority Mail, or Express Mail service. USPS Express Mail ranges from 1-2 delivery days but isn't always a next day option depending on your order time and shipping location.

For our Canadian friends, we ship via First Class International or Priority Mail International through the USPS.

A: We base our shipping charges on weight of the items you order.

You'll see that in most orders if you're buying 1-4 base cards, your shipping charge could be as low as $2.95 & will increase increments of $1 as the number of cards shipped also increases. We have very fair shipping rates!

Your actual shipping charge will be listed during checkout after you enter your shipping information but before you enter your credit card number.

We also offer insured shipping through the USPS. Just pick the First Class Insured or Priority Mail Insured option while checking out. Alamo City Cards is not responsible for items lost in the mail. If you have concerns about shipping, please insure your items.
Don't let the shipping costs scare you away. If you really want an item and feel the shipping cost is too high on a large order, contact us and we'll work it out by trying to use one of the USPS Flat Rate boxes. If you see your shipping charge is over $10, we might be able to send your items in the USPS Flat Rate Box. This will work for smaller items like cards, key chains, and smaller plaques but not for orders with more than 2 large plaques.
All orders come with Delivery Confirmation at no extra cost!

2. Do you ship outside the United States?

A: We added a Priority Mail International shipping option this year. Typical delivery takes 6-10 days and is good for only up to 10 regular cards or 4 graded cards for the Flat Rate. We may have to add to your shipping charge if your items don't fit securely in the flat rate envelope.

We accept Discover, Mastercard, Visa, or Paypal from our international customers. NO international money orders please.

3. Do you protect the cards for shipment?

A: For single card orders, all cards are protected in a hard plastic top loader and wrapped in cardboard or extra top loaders then shipping in padded bubble envelopes.

Since we put all of our single cards in top loaders, the shipping weight is a tad higher for larger orders. You may pay a bit more for shipping/handling but your single cards are protected and include a top loader saving you money on supplies!
For larger quantities, we wrap the cards in cardboard and ship them in card storage boxes stuffed with peanuts or tissue. For plaques and mugs, we use bubble wrap, newspaper, and peanuts to protect your items!

4. How soon will you ship my order?

A: We ship some orders on the same business day but ALL orders will ship by the NEXT business day. We offer some of the quickest order turn around on the internet!

If you paid by money order, we'll ship the order the day after the m.o. arrives. Sorry, but we no longer accept personal checks.

5. How long will it take to receive my order?

A: In the U.S., First Class shipments typically take 2-6 days and Priority Mail shipments should only take 2-3 days under "normal" shipping conditions.


1. What payment methods do you accept?

A: You can pay us online with a credit card (Mastercard or Visa) at our website through Yahoo's secure server. Yahoo will ensure your billing address and security verification value on the back of the credit card match your card registration before approving the credit card transaction.

If paying by money order, we'll supply our mailing address once you check out using the store shopping cart.

You can also pay using Paypal. Just choose that option when checking out with the online shopping cart and we'll send you a paypal invoice through email shortly after you complete order. Please don't pay using paypal before receiving our itemized invoice!

We only accept Mastercard, Visa, or Paypal from our international customers. NO international money orders please.

If you've seen one of our ads, don't forget to enter the code in the coupon block when checking out. Or you can mention the ad in the comments section, and we'll discount your subtotal before running your credit card.

2. Why didn't my discount show up on my initial invoice?

A: If you enter one of our special discount codes, please be sure to put it in the coupon code box during checkout. If your discount doesn't show up correctly, we'll adjust you're subtotal manually before charging your credit card.

Have no worries though, if you list your discount code in the comments section instead of the coupon block when checking out, we will adjust your subtotal before running your credit card and email you the actual amount!
